Liberty Union's loss came despite strong showings from Tomas Winter and Noah Shook. Winter scored 15 points, while Shook scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals. Landon Piccirillo was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Liberty Union now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Fairfield Union, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.
Liberty Union will be playing at home against Teays Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fairfield Union, they will head out on the road to square off against Bloom-Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bloom-Carroll is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
