Everything went their way against Richard Winn Academy as Laurens Academy made off with a 40-20 victory. Laurens Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Meagan Brigman, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Brigman hasn't dropped below two blocks for four straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Richard Winn Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Laurens Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Richard Winn Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
