Softball Recap: Elizabethtown Wins Going Away Against Lebanon

Elizabethtown won the last time they faced Lebanon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears put the hurt on the Cedars with a sharp 16-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Elizabethtown's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7. As for Lebanon, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elizabethtown will challenge Solanco at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Mules have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Lebanon, they will take on Conestoga Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Buckskins have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.6 runs per game on average), something the Cedars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
