Pembroke Pines Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let McArthur get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Jaguars with their most commanding win of the season.
Martin Pereira looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brady Mongera was a standout: he scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Gianfranco Mejia, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Pembroke Pines Charter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Coral Springs came up short against Dade Christian on Friday and fell 10-5. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Coral Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natron Wheeler, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jayden Nunez was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Pembroke Pines Charter's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Coral Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Pembroke Pines Charter has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Coral Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
