It was an underclassman who stole the show on Wednesday as Andrew Nimri came into the contest with something to prove. He made a splash, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. It looks like he has Alisal's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nimri has scored all season.
Nimri and Pacific Grove will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pacific Grove got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Pirates, probably because Nimri had a solid game then too: he scored nine points along with two steals. Can he match (or beat) that performance? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
