Carl Albert owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They blew past the Guthrie Bluejays 7-0. Considering the Titans have won 13 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The result came thanks to Declan Murphy's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Nate Deleplank was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 11 games. Jacson Webster also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Deleplank wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Carl Albert lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Carl Albert has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Guthrie, they dropped their record down to 15-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Carl Albert will challenge Pryor at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Guthrie, they will face off against Chickasha at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bluejays 3.7, the Fighting Chicks 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
