While Northwest didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They claimed a resounding 63-36 win over the Southeast Polk Rams. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 27 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Northwest and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Southeast Polk, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Northwest will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ankeny at 7:45 p.m. on January 1, 2025. Northwest is facing Ankeny at the right time seeing as Ankeny is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Southeast Polk, they and Norwalk will face off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
