Rowlett has won three straight games at home, while Sachse has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Eagles will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rowlett's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on North Garland with a sharp 12-0 win.
Grady Holmes made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, River Kirkhuff looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Tucker Opie was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeff Claycomb, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Rowlett hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Sachse got the win against Naaman Forest on Friday by a conclusive 14-1.
Like Rowlett, Sachse also got a great game from a two-way player: Greyson Darden. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Darden was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Luke Visser was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs.
Sachse's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Rowlett, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rowlett has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .457. However, it's not like Sachse struggles in that department as they've averaged .477. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Rowlett skirted past Sachse 2-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
