The FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Lincoln at home and fell 50-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points FAMU DRS has scored all season.
Queenn Love was FAMU DRS's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Nivre Green held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamia Brown, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The game was Brown's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amari Johnson, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
FAMU DRS's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6. As for Lincoln, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
FAMU DRS won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Maclay at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Gadsden County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gadsden County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while Lincoln is ranked 138th).
