After a string of three wins, the Providence Day Chargers's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were the victim of a tough 64-39 defeat at the hands of Shabach Christian Academy.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Katelyn Ramsden, who scored 9 points. Jaida Mcclure was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Providence Day's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Shabach Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Day will take on Ardrey Kell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shabach Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Springdale Prep at 5:00 p.m.
