Gabe Fields Turns in Season-Best Effort
Gabe Fields produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Central to the win on Friday. Fields rushed for 474 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 24.9 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (131.9) per game. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.
The victory snapped Central's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. Fields and Central will take on Park Hill on Friday.

Jaxon Hicks continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game with at least 114 rushing yards. He rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
This year, Hicks has run in 21 touchdowns while averaging 201.5 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had seven rushing touchdowns.
