Copper Canyon and Kofa are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Copper Canyon Aztecs will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Kofa Kings at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th.
Last Thursday, Copper Canyon was beaten by Dobson 64-34. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Copper Canyon in their matchups with Dobson: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Kofa strolled past Washington with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 54-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kofa.
Kofa got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Calvin Barber out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jayven Wynn was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Camelback's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Copper Canyon's loss dropped theirs to 2-1.
Copper Canyon might still be hurting after the 68-48 defeat they got from Kofa in their previous meeting back in January. Can Copper Canyon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
