The American History Bald Eagles won the last time they faced the Dickinson Rams, and things went their way on Thursday too. American History snuck past Dickinson with a 27-21 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for American History.
American History found their leader in underclassman Erica Lawson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals. Lawson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Neveah Stanley was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
American History has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Dickinson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American History will take on Newark Tech at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Newark Tech comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last seven games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Dickinson, they will head out on the road to square off against Clifton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Clifton has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 26.
