A big part of Strawberry Crest's win came down to the chemistry between Zoe Surrency and her top target Sonnie Hartman. Surrency threw for 235 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.3% of her passes while Hartman picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Strawberry Crest's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Nasma Ador with two sacks.

Everything came up roses for Newsome against Strawberry Crest when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as the squad secured a 27-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
