Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chisholm Trail). They blew past the Newman International Academy Warriors 76-30 on Tuesday. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-11.

Leading Chisholm Trail to victory were Kaden Richardson and Jesse Mutombo. Richardson went 8 for 16 on his way to 19 points, while Mutombo went 6 of 8 en route to 16 points along with six boards and three steals. Richardson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Jalen Thomas was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Newman International Academy lost, don't look at Deontae Casey. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

Chisholm Trail is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
