Fitzgerald entered their tilt with Clintondale on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Dragons. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Aziya Marks was a standout: she got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Briana Parsons was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Fitzgerald always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .533 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Fitzgerald pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Clintondale, they, and Detroit Cristo Rey. As for the Dragons, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitzgerald will host Detroit Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clintondale, they will welcome Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Abes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.57 runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
