Adding to the longest winning streak in South Coast this week, Mission Viejo beat Trabuco Hills 35-0. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Diablos.
The Mustangs lost to Mission Viejo 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Tommy Kelley threw for 168 yards in the defeat.
Loren Applegate and Vlad Dzhabiyev gave San Clemente a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Applegate threw for 109 yards and 1 touchdown, while Dzhabiyev ran for 39 yards.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when El Toro takes on Bob Johnson's team. The Chargers' offense has scored 227 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Diablos have allowed only 153 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mission Viejo takes on El Toro. The Diablos are in first place, while Robert Frith's team is in fourth place.
Mission Viejo led South Coast in scoring this week by notching 35 points on Scott Orloffs' team.
