Timber Creek is 2-8 against Keller since March of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Timber Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Keller's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Timber Creek duked it out with Argyle on Tuesday. The Falcons walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Carly Branscum made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Branscum was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ella Salazar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Brooklyn McNutt also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Keller entered their tilt with Trinity on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged out the Trojans 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since March 4th.
Sydona Meiser was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaiya Fabela, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
Keller kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 15-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Keller's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Timber Creek, their record is now 16-10.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Timber Creek hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Keller struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Timber Creek might still be hurting after the 16-6 loss they got from Keller when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
