West Point-Beemer hadn't done well against Howells-Dodge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The West Point-Beemer Cadets secured a 59-54 W over the Howells-Dodge Jaguars. The victory was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on four straight.

West Point-Beemer can attribute much of their success to Blaize Brockmann, who made all 7 shots he took for 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Myles Nielsen, who posted 11 points.

West Point-Beemer's record now sits at 4-1. As for Howells-Dodge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point-Beemer will host Clarkson/Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Point-Beemer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Clarkson/Leigh likes a good challenge. As for Howells-Dodge, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Howells-Dodge Jaguars take on the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
