AAA Liberty recap Nov. 7, 2012
Madison's Nate Williams rumbled for the longest rushing play in AAA Liberty this season in his game against Marshall last week. Williams' team beat the Statesmen as he sprinted for 68 yards on the play and finished with 74 in all.
Stone Bridge extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Fairfax, 47-27. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Madison's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Mitchell Goddard threw for 16 and one touchdown and Ben Sanford had 16 yards receiving.
Madison's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warhawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dan Powers has thrown for 704 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Tom House has 36 catches for 487 yards. Jacob Hall leads the league in rushing with 387 yards.
