Williams' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Fern Chatters , who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Chatters scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Mortensen , who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Lincoln Prep pushed their record up to 5-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.33 points. As for Williams, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
Lincoln Prep will face off against Gilbert Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Williams, they will be playing at home against El Capitan/Centennial Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
