Westlake Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asa Anderson, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Grayson Howe, who scored 11 points along with 4 steals.
Despite the defeat, Cristo Rey St. Martin saw an underclassman step up: Lebron Massey scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds. The game was Massey's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Handy, who scored 10 points.
