Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Athens). They enjoyed a cozy 91-73 victory over the Kemp Yellowjackets on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Hornets who have now won six games in a row.

Athens is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Kemp, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Athens will venture away from home to square off against Life Waxahachie at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Life Waxahachie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Athens likes a good challenge. As for Kemp, they will face off against Brownsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
