The Harrisburg Eagles lost against the Elmira Falcons back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Harrisburg received a tough blow as they fell 34-15 to Elmira. Harrisburg has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Quinton Buckland continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Elmira, throwing for 254 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown. Keelan Hecker did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 107 receiving yards, while also throwing for 31 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Elmira, the win was the fifth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will challenge Sisters at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sisters will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Elmira, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Catholic is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
