Salado found a leader in Owen Curtis as the squad took down Jarrell on Friday. Curtis was unstoppable, striking out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Salado is 3-0-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
