Another player making a difference was Elijah Clifford, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Spanish River's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 57-50 to Olympic Heights.
Morningside Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Spanish River, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-11.
