West Ashley received a tough blow as they fell 70-53 to Goose Creek. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Ashley in their matchups with Goose Creek: they've now lost four in a row.
West Ashley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lavelle Minus, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds. Minus is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Kendall Mack was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
West Ashley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Goose Creek, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
