Several Devilpups players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maurice Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. The game was Thomas' fifth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaceon Trice, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.
Lejeune's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lakewood, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
