Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Franklin Indians, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They suffered a tough 30-10 loss at the hands of Linganore on Thursday. Franklin's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Devin Rollins. Despite the final result, he rushed for 134 yards, and also picked up 81 receiving yards.
Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Linganore, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Linganore will take on Northern at 6:30 p.m. on November 24th. Northern is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
