Meanwhile, Linden didn't have quite enough to beat Summerville on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 25-14 in the first set.
Linden was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Summerville work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 14-25, 27-25, 25-10, 19-25, 16-14.
Amador's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Linden, they dropped their record down to 15-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
