The Sarasota Christian Blazers and the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Sarasota Christian Blazers had to settle for second. They fell to the Falcons 49-43. Sarasota Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Saint Stephen's Episcopal apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Sarasota Christian still got an impressive performance from Matthias Hulka, who scored 24 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Milliken, who scored six points along with two steals.
Sarasota Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-18.
Sarasota Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Saint Stephen's Episcopal also has no future games currently scheduled.
