Football Recap: Alpha Omega Academy Piles Up the Points Against Legacy Christian Academy

Alpha Omega Academy entered their tilt with Legacy Christian Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 74-26 win over the Warriors. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Warriors are ranked 65th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alpha Omega Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Legacy Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alpha Omega Academy will square off against rival Faith West Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Allen Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will also be the Warriors' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
