The Tanalian Lynx's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Birchwood Christian, falling 60-24. Tanalian has not had much luck with Birchwood Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Lynx players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Erik McGee, who scored 11 points. Ray Chmiel was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Tanalian bumped their record down to 0-1 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Birchwood Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Tanalian will head out on the road to face off against Holy Rosary Academy at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Birchwood Christian, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Nanwalek on January 11th.
