This season hasn't been kind to the Mason Punchers, who are still winless after their 13th contest. They lost to Johnson City at home by a decisive 54-39 margin on Tuesday. If Mason hoped to take revenge for the 47-19 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
It was another big night for Aiden Fulton, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds for Johnson City. Fulton is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kp Coble, who scored four points along with 18 rebounds.
Mason dropped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Johnson City, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
Mason will head out on the road to square off against San Saba at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johnson City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Junction at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
