Make it eight blowout wins for the Texas Christian Tigers this season. They took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 77-38 victory over The Connection School of Houston. The victory was nothing new for Texas Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
Texas Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jean Hirwa, who scored 20 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brennen Citizen, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Felippe Weesner, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
The Connection School of Houston struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Texas Christian racked up 20 assists.
Texas Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for The Connection School of Houston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.
