The Cushing Tigers suffered their biggest loss since January 5th on Friday. Their tough 61-41 defeat to Bristow might stick with them for a while. Cushing has struggled against Bristow recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Bristow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abby Morgan, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Morgan has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shalyn Edmondson, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Cushing's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bristow, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Cushing will be playing in front of their home fans against Sperry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bristow, they will head out on the road to challenge Mannford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mannford is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
