Dax Varnadore Delivers Best Effort of Season
Dax Varnadore produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fort Payne to the win on Friday. Varnadore threw for 144 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Varnadore might have his next game, a road matchup with Hazel Green, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Varnadore saw the Trojans), he threw for 257 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Buckhorn now has a losing record at 3-4. Landrum and Buckhorn will challenge Mae Jemison on Thursday.
