On Friday, everything came up roses for Plainfield South on the road against Addison Trail as the squad secured a 63-33 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Plainfield South.
Plainfield South can attribute much of their success to Destynia Mcgruder, who scored 20 points along with 8 assists and 8 rebounds. Mcgruder is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Jazlynn Foster was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 3 steals.
The win got Plainfield South back to even at 2-2. As for Addison Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainfield South is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on November 28th. As for Addison Trail, they will challenge Downers Grove South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
