It was a good run, but Tolono Unity unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Zion Braves. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Emmerson Bailey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Tolono Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Mt. Zion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Coming up, Tolono Unity will head out to square off against St. Joseph-Ogden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mt. Zion, they will be playing at home against Rochester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
