The St. Charles Cardinals were the 70-64 winner over the Eastmoor Academy Warriors when they last played one another back in November of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. St. Charles took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastmoor Academy on Saturday. St. Charles has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
James Nowell was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 25 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Elijah Watkins, who scored 8 points.
St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastmoor Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
St. Charles will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Groveport-Madison at 7:30 p.m. As for Eastmoor Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
