Blanchester extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 13-8. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Georgetown G-Men. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the G-Men this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 on Monday.

Bailie Bare was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, three RBI, and one stolen base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Jocelyn Lansing was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
As for Georgetown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games.
On Georgetown's side, Brylee Faul and Brenalyn Hudson made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Faul pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Hudson pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. At bat, Faul went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Hudson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Chloe Inlow was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Morgan Preston, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one double.
Blanchester and Georgetown should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Wildcats (ranked 276th) will meet Washington (ranked 621st) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Georgetown will square off against Whiteoak at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (188 vs. 604).
