The Biggs Wolverines can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by CORE Butte on the road to the tune of 84-43. The win was nothing new for Biggs as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Biggs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Smith, who scored 23 points along with three steals. Smith continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was David Ibarra, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Biggs has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for CORE Butte, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Biggs will challenge Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for CORE Butte, they will head out on the road to take on Los Molinos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
