Northside came into Friday's game having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-29 win over the Abilene H Hawks. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colt Ford, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Carter Russell, who earned 14 points.

Northside's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Abilene H, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Northside has already played their next contest, a 58-37 win against Crowell on the 14th. Abilene H does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
