The Stevens Point Panthers will challenge the Hudson Raiders at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Stevens Point is coming into the  match hot, having won their last seven games.
Stevens Point is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Saturday. They won by a  set and slipped past Marshfield  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Panthers have posted  since September 27th.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Stevens Point who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 21-25, 25-19, 21-25,  15-10.
 Addi Peskie was the offensive standout of the  contest as she  had seven  digs and five  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted since back in August.
 Peskie wasn't the only good servers: Stevens Point  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in six consecutive  matchups.
Meanwhile, Hudson made easy work of Eau Claire Memorial  on Saturday and carried off  a  3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Raiders have posted  against the Old Abes since September 15, 2022.
 Hudson was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-20,  25-19.
 Stevens Point's record now sits at 30-7. As for Hudson, their record is now 25-5.
 Stevens Point couldn't quite get it done against Hudson when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 as they fell  3-1. Thankfully for the Panthers,  Chloe Lockheart (who  had 21  digs and four  aces) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
