Pisgah came out on top against Tuscola on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Bears blew past the Mountaineers 11-1. Considering the Bears have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Sadie Messer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
