Everything went their way against the Goode STEM Academy Knights on Tuesday as the Hancock Eagles made off with  an  18-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Hancock considering their one-run performance the  match before.
  Isela Garcia made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Garcia was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other pitching news,  Julissa Moran looked comfortable as she  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned run or  hits.
 Back at the plate, Hancock got a  massive  performance out of  Natalia Holguin, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Nailani Deaton, who  went 2-for-2 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Hancock  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2. As for Goode STEM Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Hancock will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitney Young at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Whitney Young is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season. As for Goode STEM Academy, they will head out on the road to  take on  Juarez at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in Juarez's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three contests.
