C.A. Johnson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lamont Jackson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with three steals. Jackson hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Guess, who scored 14 points along with nine assists and three steals.
C.A. Johnson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Lewisville, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.
C.A. Johnson will head out on the road to challenge Riverwalk Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Riverwalk Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 11. As for Lewisville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McBee at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
