With a playoff game on the line, the Redlands East Valley Wildcats rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lobos. Three seems to be a good number for Redlands East Valley as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Cruz Navarro and
Landon Garcia, who scored all three of Redlands East Valley's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 33 so far this season.
Redlands East Valley is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season. As for Los Amigos, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2-5.
Redlands East Valley is on the road again on Friday and plays Oak Hills on February 9th. Oak Hills will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Redlands East Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Los Amigos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
