Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodrow Wilson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donya Burton, who went 7-for-14 on her way to 17 points along with seven boards and five steals. The dominant performance gave Burton a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Williams, who went 7-for-15 to rack up 17 points.
Meanwhile, Princeton came tearing into Saturday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Huskies 66-45.
Woodrow Wilson better keep an eye on Carley Hurt. She was instrumental in Princeton's win, going 6-for-13 en route to 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Hurt continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Asia Collins was another key player, going 6-for-11 on her way to 14 points along with eight boards and five assists.
Princeton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.
