Sylacauga never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Ashville Bulldogs 15-0. Considering the Aggies have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sylacauga let Connor Phillips and Jamaury Thomas run wild. Phillips went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Thomas went 2-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI. Phillips has become a key player for Sylacauga: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was London Howell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Sylacauga now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Ashville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.
